The pie charts compare the exports of five different products in the UK and
Germany in a two-year period, from 2020 to 2021.
Overall, the majority of the exports in the UK were mechanical machinery, while
Germany exported the most cars over the same period.
19% of Germany’s exports and 15% of the exports in the UK were pharmaceutical
products in 2020, but in 2021, these countries experienced a 2% drop in their
exports of these products. In Germany, the electronics took an average of 18% of
the exports in both years, while this figure was a negligible 5% in the UK over the
same period. Finally, food products were the least exported items in both
countries in both years, roughly 6%.
