Here is my writing:
The line graph compares the quarterly market share of four major mobile phone
brands in the US from the first quarter of 2020 to the third quarter of 2021.
Overall, Apple had the biggest market share over this period, while OnePlus and
Lenovo had the least amount of sales.
Looking at the chart, we can see that Apple and Samsung’s sales figures somehow
mirrored each other over the period shown. In Q1 2020, Apple sold a little less
than half of all the mobile phones that were sold in America, while Samsung, the
second most successful manufacturer, had approximately 32% of the cell phone
market. By the end of 2020, Apple had reached its all-time high of around 65%,
whereas Samsung’s sales figures plummeted to its all-time low of about 17%.
From that point on, Apple’s figures crawled downward, while Samsung gained
more market dominance.
Lenovo and OnePlus had a combined share of less than 10% in the US phone
market over this period with Lenovo’s sales inching to almost 10% in Q3 2021.
Other phone brands had an average share of almost 20% of the mobile phones
sold in 2020, but in 2021, their figures continued to go down.
