RESOLUTION NO. 1216- 2022

RESOLUTION REQUESTING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FROM HON. RAMON REVILLA

JR., SENATOR, REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES, THE AMOUNT OF TEN MILLION
PESOS (PHP 10,000,000.00) FOR THE CONCRETING AT, BARANGAY SANTO
NIÑO, ARACELI, PROVINCE OF PALAWAN.

WHEREAS, one of the thrusts of the present administration is to farm

produce to the market;

WHEREAS, we are a 4th class Municipality with a long stretch of unconcreted

in the Province of Palawan;

WHEREAS, the road is badly damaged due to the natural wear and tear and due
to its being made of sand and gravel;

WHEREAS, the particular road is used by a number of people as it is the

gateway to adjacent barangays in the municipality;

WHEREAS, due to the severity of the road condition, it is becoming dangerous

for the commuters who usually use motorcycle and tricycle in travelling to and from the
barangays and the town proper especially during rainy season;

WHEREAS, the amount of money that is needed to rehabilitate the Local

Government’s infrastructure is not attainable in our situation due to our 4th class status;

WHEREAS, the municipality is asking for financial assistance from your good
office for the concreting of the said infrastructure project;

RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to request financial assistance from

Hon. Ramon Revilla Jr., Senator, Republic of the Philippines, the amount of Ten Million
Pesos (Php10,000,000.00) for the rehabilitation and concreting of Road at Barangay Santo
Niño, Araceli, Province of Palawan.
