Неозначений артикль a (an) може вживатися

тільки із злічуваними іменниками в однині. Перед

злічуваними іменниками або іменниками у множині

неозначений артикль не вживається.

Означений артикль the вживається як із злічу

ваними, так і з незлічуваними іменниками в одни

ні та множині.

• E.g. This is a book. The book is interesting.
