General Instructions:
X Y and Z are partners sharing profits and losses in the ratio 5 : 3 : 2. They
decide to share the future profits in the ratio 3 : 2 : 1. Workmen compensation
reserve appearing in the balance sheet on the date if no information is available
for the same will be :
(A) Distributed to the partners in old profit sharing ratio
(B) Distributed to the partners in new profit sharing ratio
(C) Distributed to the partners in capital ratio
(D) Carried forward to new balance sheet without any adjustment

JIYA Ltd. issued 80,000, 10% Debentures of ₹ 100 each at certain rate of
discount and were to be redeemed at 20% premium. Existing balance of

Public applied for 85,000 shares. The board of directors decided to reject 5,000 shares
and pro-rata allotment was made to the remaining applicants.

both the calls. The directors decided to forfeit his shares.
Out of these 1,200 shares were re-issued for rupees 80 per share as fully paid.

Out of the forfeited shares, 4,000 shares were re issued including all shares of Mr. Amar.
