Modi Ji has announced on the day of the Prakash
Purab of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, on 9 January 2022

that 26th December will be observed as ‘VEER BAAL

DIWAS’, to mark the martyrdom of Sri Guru Gobind
Singh’s sons Sahibzadas Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and
Baba Fateh Singh Ji.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Home Affairs,

Government of India, issued Gazette notification
declaring 26th December 2022 as ‘VEER BAAL
DIWAS’, to pay tribute to the unparalleled sacrifices
made by the beloved sons of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
Henceforth, 26 December will be commemorated
every year as ‘VEER BAAL DIWAS’ in memory of the
beloved sons of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
