Violin Playing Checklist

Preparing the Violin:

 My Violin is in tune
 The bow hairs are tight
 The bow has rosin on it
 The shoulder rest is on the violin

Positioning the Violin:

 Place the violin on the shoulder
 Make sure the shoulders are relaxed
 Check the bow hold is good
 Place the bow on the string so it is straight
 Keep the upper arm still as you bow using the
lower arm, wrist and hand
