Currently, it is a motive for discussion if the human race has to stop focusing

on exploring the universe and its planets and start focusing on Earth and all the
issues it has. Even though, it can bring society knowledge about the unknown
and resolve problems without solution.
Firstly, research is important to find out about the past. Over the years, a lot
of research which involves the outside of Earth has been conducted, and that is
the motive that nowadays our specie has known about, for example, the Big
Bang Explosion.
Secondly, exploring space requires a vast amount of money. It is no shocking
news that we spend a lot of money learning about space and stars, which
could be directed to saving people's lives.
Thirdly, technologies that are present in human daily life come from space.
Space expeditions brought with them the ideas of satellites and the internet,
which are present in everybody’s life.
To conclude, I would not agree that research about the universe is a great
problem, but people, in general, need to remember that it is not cheap the
cost for doing research on outer space, and this vast amount of money could
be used in other better ways for the life of the humans at Earth.
