Articulation of DepEd

vision, mission, and

core values on how
these will influence
the school’s ways of
doing things.
Our Vision
“We dream of Filipinos…”
Our vision is more than just the end-goal of a plan. It is a dream, a wish,
a prayer – what we fervently hope for and what we diligently work
towards. By envisioning we begin to fulfill our mandate and
responsibilities stated in Republic Act No. 9155 and do our duty as
Filipinos.
Example:
Parada National High School is one with the Department of
Education’s goal in protecting and promoting the right of all
citizens to free, accessible, inclusive, and quality basic
education. It shall be the goal of basic education to provide
learners with the skills, knowledge, competencies and values
they need to becoming caring, self-reliant, productive,
responsible, and patriotic citizens.
(Access, Equity, and Quality)

OUR VISION
“…who passionately love their country…”
We want to develop learners who are true citizens and patriots, who
have a strong desire to serve their country and work for its betterment.

OUR VISION
Example:
Learners will be trained on how to become responsible,
patriotic, and productive citizens of our country by providing
them with an avenue, programs, and projects that show the
importance of loving and serving one’s country.
(Quality, Resiliency and Well-Being, and Governance)

OUR VISION
“...and whose values and competencies…”
We need to do two things: inculcate the values of being Maka Diyos,……
and desirable and train students to make sure they have the necessary
competencies.

OUR VISION
Example:
The school ensures that quality education is being delivered to
all learners by providing them with the necessary values, skills,
and competencies that can be used in real-life situations.
(Access, Equity, and Quality)

OUR VISION
“…enable them to realize their full potential
and contribute meaningfully to building the
nation…”
As a learner-centered institution we want them to know how to
improve themselves and realize their dreams, while keeping in mind the
state of their country and the welfare of their people. In turn, Filipinos
realize their potential, not for selfish gain, but to contribute to building
a nation every Filipino deserves.

OUR VISION
Section 17 under Article II of the 1987 Constitution mandates the State
to give priority to education, science and technology, arts, culture, and
sports to foster patriotism and nationalism, accelerate social progress,
human liberation, and development.

Example:
The school ensures that the learners acquire the necessary skills and
competence delivered by competent teachers using an effective and
relevant curriculum. As such, learners gain and realize their full
potential, skills, and talents which can contribute meaningfully to
building his/her personal and professional life and the nation as a
whole.
(Access, Equity, and Quality)

OUR VISION
“As a learner-centered public institution...”
DepEd is the government agency responsible for the management and
governance of the Philippine Basic Education System.

OUR VISION
Example:

The school formulates, implements, and coordinates policies,

plans, programs, and projects for all its clientele. Providing
opportunities for learners to work independently and work
collaboratively with peers through various learning activities
facilitated by competent teachers.
(Access and Governance)

OUR VISION
“..the Department of Education
continuously improves itself..”
“..to better serve its stakeholders.”
Just like our students, we do not stop learning. We constantly seek to
be better, both as an institution and as individuals.
