This system is one of the best. Attacking this system opens up a new way of betting.
It is a flat bet system, but the returns are excellent... Averaging 2-3 units per deck. Don’t be scared
off by
The system looking complicated.
The rules are easy and you will find you will pick up any trends... I think it is close to
The best Baccarat System around... it is so simple.

The System
it is based on trends you will find in most shoes. All shoes exhibit trends, but a shoe must stay long
enough for the player to get on it in order to win.
When does one know a trend is happening? This system will have you on a trend often before it
starts... There are really only two things that can happen when looking at baccarat trends. It can
either go straight (streak) by having 2 or more Player or Bank decisions in a row, or it can zig zag
by alternating between Player and Bank. This is basically what happens, that is if you ignore the
effects of ties, which this system does. So, if we can somehow play the streaks and zig zags
effectively we have come very close to cover what could happen. Therefore we are going to use 3
different score cards all at once. This will track trends; don’t get worried it is easy to use.

Progression
Do not be alarmed at the word progression it is only used to assist us in choosing which side to bet
on, Player or Bank. It will act as an indicator of the strongest pattern operating either on the top or
just below the surface at any point in the shoe. We use the progression in series of 3. The first
series is 1-2-3, the second is 4-5-6, the third is 7-8-9, then 10-11-12 etc. When we win in one of
the columns we are tracking, the next bet will be the next bet in the series. If you complete a whole
series of 3 wins, then you go to the next progression. If at any point during a series a column loses
a bet, it goes back to the beginning of the series. For example, if a column wins 2 in a row, then it
has won the 1 and 2 bets and will be ready to make a 3 unit bet. However, if it loses the 3 unit bet,
it goes back to the 1 unit bet. If a column has won 4 decisions in a row and then loses the 5 unit
bet, the next bet will be the 4 unit bet because it was the first bet in that series. When a column
loses 2 decisions in a row, it always goes back to the first bet in the first series, which is a 1-unit
bet. In the progression, each series is looked at and played by itself. If the first bet is won, then a 2-
unit bet is made. If the 2-unit bet is lost, you go back to a 1 unit bet. If the
1 and 2 unit bets are won, you go to a 3-unit bet. If that bet is lost, then you go back to the
beginning of
that series and make a 1 unit bet. If 3 bets in a row are won, then a 4-unit bet is made and you are
into
the second series. From this point on, until 3 bets are won in a row (the 4, 5, and 6 unit bets) every
loss will send you back to the 4 unit bet. And 2consecutive losses will send you back to the first bet
In the first series which is 1 unit and the whole progression begins again. So, if you -2-

win the 4 and 5 unit bet and lose the 6 unit bet, you go back to a bet of 4 units which is the first bet
in
That series of 4-5-6. Once you win 3 bets in a row and clear the 2nd series, you then progress to
the 3rd
series of 7-8-9 and follow the same pattern. If you win the 7-unit bet but lose the ensuing 8 unit
bet,
you go back and bet 7 units once again. Should you lose the 7 unit bet also, you go back to the
beginning
and make a 1 unit bet. If you are not sure at this point please read again.

The Columns

How do columns work? The first column we will discuss is the Streak column. It, of
course, tracks any trends or consecutive wins of Player and Bank. When playing the streak
column, you
always mark your next bet beneath the side that just won... Look at the following example. The
green shaded square indicates the winning side.

streak

The 3 unit bet on Player was lost, so now we go back to a 1 unit bet on Bank. The first bet in the
2nd series was lost; we stay at the first bet of the 2nd series and continue the progression.
At this point there were 2 losses in a row so we go back to our 1 unit bet. That is how the streak
column works, just always place the next bet beneath the bet that won the last decision.
The 2nd column we will discuss is the Zig Zag A column. Lets track zig zags. At the start of the
shoe the first decision is recorded in Zig zag A column. Then, the progression will start on the
opposite side because that is what it would take to have a zig zag. So, if the first decision in the
shoe is a Bank, the Bank side will be circled in the zigzag A column and then the first bet of 1 unit
will be placed on the Player side. From that point on, bets in the zigzag A column will simply
alternate between Player and Bank. Each time a bet wins it will cause the progression to go to the

next bet and a loss will cause it to go back to the beginning of the series and 2 losses in a row will
cause it to go back to a 1 unit bet and start the progression all over again. In other words, the
progression works exactly the same way for all 4columns. So here is a look at Zig Zag A column.
Zig Zag A
BP

ZZ A
First decision of a new shoe is Bank. The first bet is always placed opposite the fist decision so it
will be 1 unit on Player. The 2nd bet will always be opposite that etc. Here is a longer example

So you see how the bets begin with the decision opposite the first decision of the shoe and
from that
point on always alternate or zig zag between Player and Bank no matter which side wins or
loses. But of
course we do follow the progression as laid out above. The 3rd column is zigzag B. You see,
zigzag A only covers one zig zag possibility. There is another possible zigzag pattern that
runs opposite of the Zig
Zag A pattern. So, the Zig Zag B column will start by placing a 1 unit bet on the same side as
the first
decision (which is opposite of Zig Zag A) and then zig zags back and forth for the rest of the
shoe just like
Zig Zag A. Zig Zag B bets will always be opposite Zig Zag A bets. Look at the 2 columns side
by side.

This is how a shoe starts out. We follow the first 4 decisions without betting to see if any
pattern is
established. The way we determine our bets is simple. As long as no column has reached 4
units in the progression, we add up all the Players and all the Banks and place our bets on the
side with the smallest total. In the above example we had a total of 3 Banks and 2 Players, so
we bet on Player.
When the column has reached 4 units or higher in the progression, then that will always be
the column on which we wager. In other words, after any column has reached 4 or greater, we
then begin to bet on the side (Player or Bank) that has the largest total, not the smallest. You
will not have to physically count the totals each time, if you see a 4 or greater number in any
column that is the side on which you place your bet. The only exception to that will be if you
should have two columns that have reached 4 or more in the progression, and then you will
add up all the columns and place your bet on the side with the highest total. The only time
you place your bets on the side with the lowest total is if no column has exceeded 3 in the
progression. If the totals are equal no bet is placed. In our previous example, assume Player
wins, that will yield the situation below:

We can readily see without even counting that our next bet will be on Player because that is
where the 5 unit bet is. To repeat, whenever any bet goes to 4 units or higher, that will be the
side you bet on. The only rule to that, will be when two or more columns have the same
amount or when two columns are at a level of 4 units or more. Then you must count yourself.

When to Finish

You will normally see a pattern of up and down in your level of winnings when playing this
system. Because the system and the nature of most baccarat shoes, you will not encounter a lot
of volatility. A few practice shoes it will become fairly easy when to quit a shoe. You will see it
come back to a high point usually at least 3 times, often more than 3 times. A conservative
approach would be to quit when a shoe has peaked 3 times. If my total winnings went like this:
+1,+2, +3, +2, +3, +4, +3, +2, +3, +4, +3, +4, +5, +4, I would quit here at +4. Of course the shoe
might go on and do much better, but it might also take a nose dive., you just can't tell for sure and
tests have indicated that this is the best overall approach. I don't normally consider any peaks of
less than +4 or more. In other words, if my winnings total has gone like this: +1, +2, +3, +2, +3,
+2, +3, +4, +3. In this case, I consider +4 as my first high point or peak. If a subsequent peak is
less than +4, then I'll wait 2 or 3 more decisions to see if it comes
back to +4, if not, I'll take what I can get at that point. if the scene is like I just described
went like this: +1, +2, +3, +2, +3, +2, +3, +4, +3,+2, +3, +2, my next peak was at +3. I would play
2 or
3 more decisions and if it didn't come back to +4 (where I would definitely quit), then I would take
what I could get (hopefully +3 or at least +2).
Rule #1: Quit the shoe after reaching a peak of +4 or greater for the third time .If by the 44th

file:///C|/Systems/THREE%20DIMENSIONAL%20BACCARAT.htm (5 of 10) [6/28/2002 11:21:11 PM]

decision of the shoe I have not yet reached a high point of +4, then as soon as I do reach +4, quit.
I might try for +5 or more if I am on a winning streak. I will play until I lose my first decision, then
quit.
After the 44th decision of the shoe, we are seriously looking to get out with a win. Your goal is to
reach
+4, but be cognizant of previous high points and how much you have struggled. Consider whether
the shoe seems to be on an up or down. Quit when you reach your previous high point unless
your total currently exceeds that high point. Continue play but don't allow your total to go lower
than your previous high point. If you are struggling, at least try to get out with a positive total.
Rule #2: If you have gone past the 44th decision in the shoe and still haven't seen 3 qualifying
peaks of
+4 or more, then quit when you reach your previous high point in the shoe if your current total is
less
than that. If your current total is greater than your previous high point (before decision 44), then
continue to play as long as your total is on the up and quit after your 3rd peak. Do not allow your
total winnings to go below your previous high point even if that high point was less than +4, let us
assume we are in the last half of the shoe at decision 43, and our total winnings is at +3. Earlier in
the shoe around decision 34 our winnings peaked for the first time at +4. We win our next decision
(#44) and we now have a total of +4 but still haven't reached our 3rd peak. We are going to quit
here with +4. 42 and we have +5 and are on an upswing. Our previous high once again was +4 at
decision 34 but it was the 2nd time we had reached a qualifying high point. On the next decision
(#43), we win putting us at +6. We also win the next decision getting us to +7, but we then lose
the next decision. this is where we quit. it would be our 3rd peak. If that loss only represented our
2nd peak, we would continue to play, but we would stop as soon as one more loss would put us
back equal to our previous high point of +4. really. You will normally see a pendulum type swing in
most hoes. Seldom does a shoe start out with a big positive swing and never swing back the other
way. It ay stay positive for the duration of the shoe, but it will usually have a down swing
somewhere in the shoe even though it may never dropa negative total in winnings.

the duration of the shoe, but somewhere along the line there will normally
be a trend, duration that will cause it to swing in a positive direction though it may or may not

achieve a positive total. I will tell you how to take advantage of that when we discuss the more
advanced professional approach to this method of play. Some shoes, however, do start out
positive and although they may have a deviation of 1 to 3 units, they continue a gradual upswing
through out the course of the shoe. If it appears you are in a shoe like this, stick with it unless you
have a draw down of 4
units from your highest point. These shoes can be great money makers. And quickly reaches a
total of +8 or more. But if you quit the shoe and then recognize it as being a shoe that is steadily
increasing, you may resume play but be wary of a turn around
Rule 3: If before reaching your 3rd peak, you reach a total of +8, then continue to play this shoe
until you have a draw down of 4 units from your highest point in the shoe thus far. Play the shoe
all the way to the
end as long as you never have a draw down of 4 units from your highest point. Should you
experience a 4 unit draw down, then quit the shoe. Note that even if you have already quit a shoe
due to some other rule, if the shoe reaches a total of +8, it is permissible to resume play, but be
sure to quit in
the event of your losing 4 units from your highest peak in the shoe to that point. So if you had
reached+11 at one point and now have fallen back to +7, it is time to quit. Another good indicator
of when to quit is if a column reaches 10 in the progression and wins at that level. Keep playing
until the progression in that column drops back to 1, then quit. It could, of course, go on up to 12
to 15 before losing.
Rule #4: When any column wins at the 10 unit level in the progression, quit the shoe as soon as
that column experiences 2 losses in a row. The exception to this would be if the streak has
resulted in your total winnings reaching +8 or more, in that case follow
Rule#3. Shoes don't always cooperate and play by the above rules. Some start out
bad and get worse so we need to know how to deal with losing shoes. A demarcation level that
seems to
indicate when a shoe is most likely to be a loser is when it reaches a total of -5. When a shoe
reaches a
total of -5, it must be dealt with in a completely different manner and all previous rules go out the
window. We will discuss a good method or approach to dealing with a potential losing shoe a little
later
when we discuss the Professional Method. But for now, understand that reaching -5 in a shoe
usually means you are in trouble and you need to take the first opportunity to get out at even or -1
or at least take as small a loss as possible. Most shoes will turn around to an extent and give you
an opportunity to get out with only a small loss or perhaps none and on a rare occasion the shoe
will turn around and you can wind up making money. But be aware that this is the exception and
not the rule.
Rule #5: When losses in a shoe reach -5 units, watch for a turnaround and try to get out as close
to even
as possible. For advanced play, stop at -5 and look for an opportunity to implement the
Professional
Method. It is impossible to lay down any definite set of rules that will get you out of every shoe at
exactly the right time. You will get better with practice.
Bankroll Requirements

file:///C|/Systems/THREE%20DIMENSIONAL%20BACCARAT.htm (7 of 10) [6/28/2002 11:21:11 PM]

file:///C|/Systems/THREE%20DIMENSIONAL%20BACCARAT.htm

Since this is a flat betting system and each bet you place will be 1 unit; it doesn't require a very
large
bankroll. Based upon current available information, I believe 30 units of lifetime bankroll will be
enough the more the better. To this point, I've not encountered a draw down of more than
15 units, but it is gambling and anything is possible. I feel quite safe with 30 units. When I sit down
to play, I buy in for 10 units. Do not risk more than that on any one shoe. There is a lot of
recording to do and it can get confusing when playing live if you haven't practiced enough to play
the system almost instinctively. And even then, live play is a little different from practicing at home,
so I suggest you play a few shoes at a low level before you start playing large units. It is all a
matter of repetition.

Score Sheet

Since there are a total of 9 columns needed to keep score (4 sets of Player/Bank and 1 column for
keeping a running total of your winnings), I suggest purchasing a notebook of graph paper. It
consists of 4 squares per inch which seems to be just about right. Unfortunately, most score cards
offered by casinos are not well suited for score keeping with this system although it is possible to
adapt some of them.

Once you become familiar with the workings of this system and the normal flow of most shoes,
there is
something else you can do to increase winnings. This Professional Method seems to lend itself to
use by the conservative player who quits the shoe early, but keeps himself open to an opportunity
to jump back in and make a few more units. Don't attempt to play this addition to the system until
you have really had a lot of practice and gotten a good feel for how shoes ebb and flow. If you
don't do it right, you can do yourself as much harm as good. That is why I call it a Professional
Method. Until you have mastered this method and have been able to use it effectively on a
consistent basis, you are probably better off not using it and just adhere to the rules described
above under "When to Quit." as I have already stated, you will notice that most shoes will exhibit a
definitive swing from positive to negative or vice versa. At the very least, even in a shoe which is
negative from the very beginning, there will still be some positive swing somewhere along the line.
It is rare for a shoe to start out negative and just continually get worse without ever having a
positive swing, but it does happen. And of course the converse is true as well. You will seldom
see a shoe start out positive and just continue to increase throughout the whole shoe although
there are rare instances where this occurs.
So here is how you can increase your winnings in the shoe. Let's say you have quit at +6 because
that is the high point the shoe returned to for 3 or more times. But then the shoe takes a dip down
to -1 or
-2. Subsequently it turns around and comes back up to +5, but then loses the next two decisions
and is at +3. At this point it is a good bet that it will continue its descent for at 3 or 4 decisions until
it reaches a low point of -1 or -2 again. To take advantage of this swing, simply bet the opposite of
the way you have been betting. In other words, when you determine what your bet would normally
be (Player
or Bank) by using the columns chart total, you now place your bets on the opposite side. In this
scene, I would quit betting if and when the real shoe total again reached -1. That would mean that

file:///C|/Systems/THREE%20DIMENSIONAL%20BACCARAT.htm (8 of 10) [6/28/2002 11:21:11 PM]

file:///C|/Systems/THREE%20DIMENSIONAL%20BACCARAT.htm

we
have won 4 more units on this shoe. (Caution: most upswings and downswings aren't this
pronounced but this is given by way of example.) The same can be done if you can identify a
definite upswing. In the case of playing an upswing, you would simply resume your normal betting
procedure, that is,
betting on the side (Player or Bank) with the highest total if the progression has reached 4 or more
in any
column, or the lowest total if the progression has not exceeded 3 in any column. Since you are
playing an upswing, naturally you are betting for your "winnings" total to increase which is the
normal way you play a shoe anyhow. So, use normal betting procedures on upswings when you
are expecting the shoe's total winnings to increase, and bet opposite of the normal bet indicated
when playing a downswing or you are expecting the shoe totals to decrease. Remember when
playing upswings or downswings, continue
to keep logging your normal running total of winnings just like you were playing the shoe normally,
but you can keep your actual total off to the side. You need to keep that normal score so you can
continue to
monitor the actual course of the shoe. If you are playing one of those shoes I talked about earlier
that starts out negative and doesn't seem to want to turn around, watch closely for upswings and
downswings. You may be able to reverse your betting to take advantage of them and better your
position in the shoe. This is what I was referring to when discussing how to play when you find
yourself down by
5 units in a shoe. (See Quitting Rule #5.) Playing upswings and downswings is usually the best
way to
overcome this deficit. Earlier I spoke about those shoes that occasionally come along that start
out bad and gradually get worse. They are the opposite of the shoes that we try to exploit with
Rule #3, the +8 rule. If you can identify one of these shoes (usually a pretty good indicator is when
it hits -9 or it goes down fast with hardly any upswings or pauses) then you can reverse and play it
as a downswing all the way and make some money. But be very vigilant about upswings (when
you would be winning if betting normally but since you are betting opposite it will now be causing
you to lose) and don't tolerate an upswing of more than 3 units before stopping to see what is
happening. Remember hat by the time you begin playing this swing you only have 5 units left. It
would probably be best to identify another swing before continuing.
Quick Review of When to Quit

Rule #1: Quit the shoe after reaching a peak of +4 or greater for the third time.
Rule #2: If the 3rd peak has not been reached before the 44th decision, quit when you reach your
previous high point in the shoe if your current total is less than that even if the 3rd peak has not
been reached. If you are above the previous high point in the shoe, continue until you have
reached the 3rd peak but don't allow your winnings to dip below the previous high point (even if
that high point was less than +4).
Rule 3: If before reaching your 3rd peak, you reach a total of +8, continue to play this shoe until
you
have a draw down of 4 units from your highest point in the shoe thus far. Play the shoe all the way
to the
end as long as you never have a draw down of 4 units from your highest point. Should you

file:///C|/Systems/THREE%20DIMENSIONAL%20BACCARAT.htm (9 of 10) [6/28/2002 11:21:11 PM]

file:///C|/Systems/THREE%20DIMENSIONAL%20BACCARAT.htm

experience a 4unit draw down, then quit the shoe Note that even if you have already quit a shoe
due to some other rule, if the shoe reaches a total of +8, it is permissible to resume play, but be
sure to quit in the event of your losing 4 units from your highest peak in the shoe to that point. So
if you had reached+11 at one point and now have fallen back to +7, it is time to quit.
Rule #4: When any column wins at the 10 unit level in the progression, quit the shoe as soon as
that column experiences 2 losses in a row. The exception to this would be if the streak has
resulted in your total winnings reaching +8 or more, in that case follow Rule#3. Rule #5: When
losses in a shoe reach -5 units, watch for a turnaround and try to get out as close to even as
possible. For advanced play, stop at -5 and look for an opportunity to implement the Professional
Method. Try to make sure an upswing or downswing is clearly defined and play conservatively
within the boundaries that you have seen the shoe exhibit (as far as plus or minus totals in the
upswing and downswing). A clearly defined downswing is usually more reliable than an upswing.
It is advisable to limit your play of the upswings and downswings to only one attempt after you
have quit the shoe early unless you are trying to recover from a big loss
