Pressure shall be considered stabilized, when the change rate is no more than 5% of the testing pressure
per hour or 3.5 Mpa. (500 psi) per hour whichever is less.

Pressure shall remain within 5% of the testing pressure or 3.5 MPa (500 psi), whichever is less, during
the hold period.

1.5.2. Start of Hold Period

Hold periods shall start after pressure and temperature stabilization has occurred and the equipment
with pressure monitoring device has been isolated from the pressure source.

1.5.3. Pressure Stabilization

The pressure shall be considered stabilized, when the change rate is no more than 5% of the testing
pressure per hour or 3.5 MPa (500 psi)/hour whichever is less. Pressure shall remain within 5% of the
testing pressure or 3.5 MPa (500 psi), whichever is less, during the hold period.

2. Equipment Preparation

All Equipment should be at Hydro Test Room Area

All parts must be de-greased prior to assembly

All assembly work must be done in a clean, dry area.

Use short hoses to prevent unnecessary pressure drops during stabilization and hold periods.

Record the serial numbers of the assembly Part.
