GUIDELINES FOR PROPOSALS

A proposal is a suggestion, usually written, to persuade others to accept an idea or plan.
A well-written proposal can assist in making an excellent video.
Below is a suggested template:

VIDEO TITLE:

THEME OF THE VIDEO:
A video's theme is its central idea, concept, or purpose. It is the main reason why the
video is made.
Example: This video will display and explore the meaning and value of life, as well as the
beauty that can be found in death.
A SCRIPT SYNOPSIS: (200 words or less)
It is a brief document generally defined as a summary of a video
Example: “Old” is the story of a father and daughter (Bobby and Madi) who are going
to visit Bobby’s father in the hospital. Bobby’s father, Mr. Smith is on his deathbed and
although he is ready to let go, his family and friends aren’t.

Common styles of video: Live action video, animation, or photo montage
TARGET AUDIENCE:
Target audience refers to the specific group of people who are most likely to view your
video. 
LENGTH OF VIDEO:
3-5 minutes
