ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to see empty bunch ash provision of palm oil plant and KCI fertilizer
toward growth and production of rice plant (Oriza Sativa L.). This study is conducted in Sumber Kaya
village Sumber Harta district Musirawas regency with 123 meter above sea level starts fron February
to May of 2022. This study is experimental study with factorial group randomized design that consists
of 2 treatments namely first factor is empty bunch ash include 20 ton/ha (A1), 30 ton/ha (A2), 40
ton/ha (A3) ; second factor include KCI fertilizer namely 100 kg/ha (K1), 150 kg/ha (K2) and 200
kg/ha (K3). From those treatments, it is obtained 9 treatments combination with 3 repetitions as 27
trial units of each 3 polybags as sample. Parameters observed of this study include numbers of
productive tiller, total tiller numbers, panicle length, production of plant, root length, and 1000 seeds
weight. Based on the result of variant analysis the treatment of empty bunch ash and KCI fertilizer are
not significant toward all parameters observed even the interaction between them also not significant
toward the parameters.
