Subject:- Commemoration of Veer Bal Di was on 26th December 2022-reg

Madam/Sir,

With reference to letter received from Deputy Secretarty, Ministry of Education, Govt
of India, New Delhi Vide F.O No 7-17 /33/2022-(INS.5) dated 13.12.2022 regarding the
subject cited above, it is to inform that 26th December 2022 will be celebrated every year
as 'Veer Bal Diwas' to honor and pay homage to the martyrdom of Baba Fateh Singh and
Zorawar Singh, the Sahibzade of 10th Guru Govind Singh Ji
In this regard, a digital exhibition is curated to showcase the courage and sacrifice of
Baba Fateh Singh and Baba Zorawar Singh are as under:-

Therefore, it is requested to circulate this information to all the Kendriya Vidyalayas

under the Region and promote the event by showcasing the digital exhibition in schools in
digital format and other activities once the schools reopen after winterbreak.
