At the end of the cycle, student should be able to:
 Examine and observe other life forms. Record and share the observations about these
life forms with others.
ELICIT MATERIALS
The teacher will flash some life forms ( plants and animals) and Laptop
other life forms (bacteria algae and fungi) on LCD projector
together with a picture where in the students can formulate an idea LCD Projector
about the different life forms exist on Earth. The student will analyze
the picture and share a reflection regarding it in class.
ENGAGE
1. Examine and observe other life forms. Live Specimens
2.The students will perform the activity 1 “Are These Also Plants?
3.Ask the Key Questions:
“How this other life forms differ from the living things that we
usually know?

 Main Concept: Mushroom and molds are different from plants
because they are not green; they are white, grey, brown and
black. They only have stem-like, Fruit –like and leaf-like parts
just as plants do but their bodies are very much softer and
smaller.
