1. Air cleaner assembly

The QSK60M uses a unique

engine-mounted air filter
arrangement.

This twin air cleaner assembly

contains a washable pre-filter (3),
a replaceable filter element (4),
and a restriction indicator.
There is one assembly for each
bank and each provides air
for two turbochargers.

Max Allowable intake restriction

Clean Air Filter 3.7 KPa (15 in H²O)
Dirty Air Filter 6.2 Kpa (25 in H²O)
Max Air Cleaner Inlet Temp rise over ambient 17ºC (30ºF)

A QSk45 and QSK60 air starting motor

is shown in the illustration.
The air starting motor system (tanks,
line sizes, and valves) is designed and
installed by the OEM and the starting
motor suppliers. Refer any questions
about the air starting systems to the
manufacturer.
Refer to the OEM and starting motor
manufacturer's manuals for specific
information regarding the starting motors,
valves, and systems.
