ArAFCS Annual Conference

Celebrating the Past...Sustaining the Future Harding University, Searcy, Arkansas February 26-27, 2009
WHO: WHAT: Family and Consumer Sciences professionals working in a variety of education, service, and business positions. You are invited to participate in a stimulating and integrative professional conference designed to provide opportunities to learn, share, and network with other FCS professionals. As an added bonus you will earn PDU, CPE, and/or CEU credit. The certificate of verification will be included in the registration packet you will receive at the beginning of the conference. February 26-27, 2009 at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas.

WHEN & WHERE:

Now is the time to make your plans to attend! Heres how: Complete the registration form included in this mailing. Conference registration is $65.00 for both Thursday and Friday sessions. Preprofessional student conference registration is $40.00. The registration fee includes conference sessions, materials, a dessert reception on Thursday evening, as well as a continental breakfast and centennial celebration luncheon on Friday. Participants have the option of attending one or both days of the conference. Complete and return the registration form with payment by February 13, to Denise Fisher, Harding University, Box 12233, Searcy, AR 72149. Make checks payable to ArAFCS. Make travel and lodging arrangements. Listed below are several options for accommodations. Make your reservations directly with the hotel. Four rooms have been reserved for university student groups at the Heritage Inn on campus. If you are an advisor to a university preprofessional section, please email Denise Fisher at dfisher@harding.edu before February 16 to either confirm or release the room reserved for your student group.
