I) Answer the following questions: -


1) What causes most weather conditions around us?
Ans:- Most of the weather conditions caused by air around us.
2) During which season does the weather become warm?
Ans:- During summer the weather become warm.
3) What makes the weather cold?
Ans:- When air becomes cold it makes the weather cold.
4) Name the three seasons of India.
Ans:- The three seasons of India are
a) Summer
b) Winter
c) Rainy
5)Describe the rainy season.
Ans:- The rainy seasons is also called monsoon .It begins in May or
June and lasts till September. During the monsoon there is a large
amount of water vapour in the air and the weather is humid.
5) Give suitable examples to show the animals are affected by
seasons.
Ans:- Due to changes in seasons the animals have to undergo
following things:-
a) Migration: - When animals move from one place to another
place is called migration. Siberian Cranes that live in very cold
places fly away to warmer parts in winter.
b) Hibernation: - Some animals cannot bear extreme climatic
conditions, so they undergo inside the soil. Frogs and snakes.
6)How do seasons affect our habits? Explain with examples.
Ans:-Seasons affect our habits. In cold winter months, we wear
warm clothes and like to eat warm food. We sleep for a longer
time in winter. But in summers, we like to wear loose cotton
clothes and drink lots of water.
