Circuit Fault and Warning Messages
1. Description
The metal detector continuously monitors status and
performance. Should a system fault or condition exist, the
detector will output a warning, caution, or fault message to
indicate the status.
‘The effect each type of status message has on the detector
is described below.
Message type FAULT
Reason Essential detector operation is jeopardized
Fault output Ketive
‘Screen status Message permanently displayed
Detection relay Active
Bar graph status Flashing
Audio indicator Series of short pulses
Message type WARNING
Reason Non-Essential detector features affected
Fault output Active
‘Screen status Message intermittently displayed
Detection relay Inactive
Bar graph status Normal
Audio indicator No audible alarm
ere CAUTION
Reason Indicates cautionary message regarding an operation process
Fault output Inactive
Screen status Message briefly displayed
Detection relay Inactive
Bar graph status Normal
‘Audio indicator
No audible alarm
