this position and excited to see what opportunities await. I have heard incredible things about this school

As a graduating Elementary Education major from Dakota State University, I am equipped with efficient
pedagogy and technological tools that will advance the learning of all students. I have also been able to
have many different teaching experiences in multiple different environments. The wide range of
certifications and endorsements I received in college shows flexibility in my knowledge and teaching
abilities.

I have teaching experience in second, third, and fourth-grade classrooms. Most recently, I have had the
opportunity to student teach for a whole school year in a fourth-grade classroom in a suburban area.
During these experiences, I have enjoyed meeting and working with a wide array of students. At my
fourth-grade placement, I was challenged with planning and differentiating for 125 students in math and
social studies.

Along with teaching experience, I have experience assisting in various extra-curricular activities. I have
experience as a middle school softball coach and volunteer high school girls basketball coach. I have
experience working at an after-school program and daycare, in which I improved my skills of
communicating with parents, planning activities, and ensuring the safety of all children.
