2D DRAWING SOLID WORKS

OBJECTIVE:

 To learn 2D Drawing.
 How to create a 2D sketch in solid works.

INTRODUCTION:

 The SOLIDWORKS software is a mechanical design automatic application that lets designers
quickly sketch out ideas experiments with features and dimensions and produce models and
detailed drawing.

OBJECTIVE:

 To learn 3D modelling.
 How to create a 3D modelling in solid works.

INTRODUCTION:

 The EXTRUDE CUT function removes material from solid bodies by EXTRUDING closed wireframe
chains or planer surface geometry to the specified distance and subtracts the results from any
intersecting solid or surface bodied.

INTRODUCTION:

 Revolved Boss or Base is a SolidWorks feature tool, which is used to create solid 3D model
around an axis.
 Sweep is an extrusion tool that allows you to extrude a profile such as a circle or a square or
a complex shape along a sketched path.

 How to create a 3D modelling in solid works.
 To create pin and L key model.

INTRODUCTION:

 Sweep features are, defined by using custom 2D cross-section (or face) moved along a pre-set
path to create a 3D shape or surface. With the sweep method, the user defines a 2-D or 3-D
guide curve, in addition to creating the cross-section.

 How to create a 3D modelling in solid works.
 To use swept cut commands

INTRODUCTION:

 Swept cuts allow for a tool or profile to be, used to cut along a path. The creation is almost the
same as using a regular sweep, with the addition of something to cut through

 To use HOLE WIZARD command

INTRODUCTION:

 To create hole wizard holes, create a part and select a surface, click Hole Wizard (Features
toolbar) or Insert > Features > Hole > Wizard, set the Property Manager options, and click.

OBJECTIVE:

 To learn 3D modelling.
 How to create a 3D modelling in solid works.
 To use RIB COMMAND.

INTRODUCTION:

 Rib is a special type of extruded feature created from open or closed sketched contours. It adds
material of a specified thickness in a specified direction between the contour and an existing
part. You can create a rib using single or multiple sketches. Rib feature is just like extruded
feature, which allows to EXTRUDE from both open and closed sketch profiles or contours.
