13. I.B.C INTERNATIONAL BEVERAGE COMPANY HAS

EXPORTED FRESH WATER TO CAMBODIA

1. I.B.C International Beverage Company was established by the joint

venture between Saigon General Service Business Production Company
(S.P.Co) with MACOMORAY Group (Hong Kong)

2. A joint venture contract of LB.C was granted license by the State

Committee for Investment Cooperation (S.C.C.I) in December 1991 only
two months later.

3. In March 1992, I.B.C factory officially started construction on an area of

2.5 ha in Tan Thoi Hiep commune - Hoc Mon, Ho Chi Minh City.

4. And from August 1993 until now, I.B.C has gone into production.

5. But I.B.C also achieved a production of 8.5 million liters of soft drinks in
1993, about one-fifth of the factory's design.

6. I.B.C has signed a contract to transfer the right to manufacture and

distribute soft drinks branded CRUSH-SCHWEPPES with the world's third
largest consortium (after COKE and PEPSI) being CADBURY.

7. Up to now CRUSH-SCHWEPPES soft drinks have been widely available

in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces.

8. Following the market division of CADBURY Group, I.B.C has the

distribution rights in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Burma.

9. In October 1993, I.B.C shipped its first batch to Cambodia.

10.I.B.C. also prepares a wider market with a more well-known product.

11. "The US trade embargo lifted after 30 minutes of PEPSI COLA made in
Vietnam would be in the world market and in the US," said Dang Hong
Chau, deputy general director of I.B.C. factory.

12. I.B.C. will be as successful as the target.

14. A CO-OPERATION NECESSARY TO EXPLOIT THACH-KHE

IRON MINE.

1. Thach- Khe is the biggest iron mine in Vietnam.

2. An iron exploiting works of 1 billion US dollars in value will be set up by
a trust with KRUPP Company of the Federal Republic of Germany. a giant
sized steel Company in the world as its head.

3. Thach Khe iron mine works is the largest mine exploiting joint venture in
Vietnam with estimated productivity of 10 million tons of ores/year,

4. Also participating in this works, besides the German companies Krupp

Hoesh and Rheinbraun, is the UK's Linrho Company amated to British
International Company.

5. The Minister of Heavy Industry. Tran Lum revealed that Vietnam had
issued an "absolute and unconditional" agreement to carry out this project as
soon as possible.

6. The Vietnamese demand in steel from now to the year 2006 is about 1.5
million tons/year. After that, the demand will increase and Vietnam wants to
build more new establishments to augment productivity to 2 million, 3
million tons and move up to 10 million tons/year

7. Vietnam's immediate need is to modernize its steel works

8. As planned, three electric furnaces with capacity of 200.000 tons/year

will be built with iron, steel scraps as row materials.

9. Thach Khe iron mine will finish detailed feasibility study by the end of
2004 its plan by the end of 2006 and begin to produce in the year 2009

10. The director of Krupp International made known "The research on

prefeasibility study financed by Krupp and Lonrho has brought good
results".

11. Thach Khe is but 2km from the seacoast and 40 km from North South
highway (and railway) axes.

12. Thus, transportation will be casy. However, the difficult problem to

solve is the sea that causes under ground current and this region is
influenced by the monsoon climate
