1 Introduction
The losses in Different Pipes HL102 for the investigation of losses in pipework permits flow losses
in pipes to be checked experimentally. The following specific topics can be investigated on the
training panel:
• Effect of different pipe diameters
• Effect of different materials and surface roughness
• Effect of the flow velocity
• Measurement of differential pressures
• Comparison between experiment and calculation
