    REFLECTION PAPER

    I consider myself as a quiet person. When it comes to conversation I am an open person.

    Meaning I always talk and share ideas through conversation. According to the passage, the

    valuable skill that I want to work on is the balance of speaking and listening. Conversations are

    most satisfying when all participants feel that they have had their fair share of speaking time. I

    should balance speaking by listening carefully to what the conversation is about. The skill I

    would work less on is thinking as a response, and providing free information. Many people have

    difficulties building conversation because of their tendency to reply to a question with one-word

    response. This skill is very helpful to keep the conversation going, but I think I should work less

    because having a long conversation is not my type.
