This document outlines an experiment to find the center of gravity of a bicycle. It lists the materials needed, including ropes, a hook, pull-up bar, weight, and measuring tape. The steps involve suspending a bicycle by different points from a hook attached to a rope and pulley system, and using a weighted rope to determine where the lines intersect, which marks the center of gravity. The results found the center of gravity to be approximately 77cm from the base of the bicycle length.

Apparatus used Cycle 2 pieces of Rope, one long and one short Hook Pull up bar Weight Measuring tape
Steps for the experiment
1. Take the short piece of rope and tie the hook to it. Then tie the rope to the pull-up bar, with the hook suspended downwards 2. Take the long piece of rope and tie the weight to it, and then tie the rope to the pull-up bar. 3. Take the cycle and mark two points where the cycle can be hung on the hook (eg. the seat and the wheel). 4. Hang the cycle by one of the points and mark two points, where the weighted rope passes through. Measure the distance between the two points. Record your findings. 5. Hang the cycle by the different points and repeat step 5 6. Find the points where the lines intersect and that is the centre of gravity. 7. Record your findings. My findings
