During this term, students learnt how to handle databases with research on MS Access and MS Forms, use Adobe Photoshop CC
for advanced imaging, practice internet safety and various internet search techniques.
During this term, students used comprehension, presentation, collaborative, and interactive skills for spoken communication;
applied kinds of reading strategies for fluent reading, inference, analysis, reflection, comparison, and exploring elements of a story;
practiced all types of punctuation marks in reading and writing, and acquired grammatical understanding of all grammatical
concepts previously learned; and wrote for narration, description, information, and opinion as part of creative as well as directed
writing.
In this term the students learnt basic geographical skills, The Land of Pakistan (The growth of cities with related problems and
solutions, city planning, The C- PEC, The world’s largest cities), Weather and Climate (Climatic Zones, Weather and Climate of
Pakistan, Seasons, Rainfall, Reading Graphs), Population (Population distribution, density, Natural Increase, population control,
Migration, Urbanization), Natural Resources (Mangroves and their destruction in Sindh), Environment (development without
damaging the environment, World Bank report, Sustainable tourism, Natural environment and economic development, Effects of
developments in Pakistan on the environment, Waterlogging, salinity and sodality in the Indus Plains, The dying delta in Sindh,
Landslides in Murree area, Air pollution).

Beginnings of Hindu and Muslim Nationalism 1885-1911, The Great Conflict – World War 1914-18 and The Rise of Nationalist
Turkey.

During this term, students learnt about the real number systems, squares & square roots, cubes & cube roots, percentages,
sequences, indices, simultaneous linear equations, linear inequalities, algebraic expressions manipulation, Pythagoras theorem,
geometrical construction and polygons.
During this term, students learnt about micro-organisms and diseases caused by them, nutrients and the energy value of food, the
human digestive system, heating and cooling, and nature and reflection of light.

تبصرہ نویسی اور مکالمہ نویسی، رپورٹ نویسی، کہانی نویسی،غیر رسمی خط،مضمون نویسی،اور اشعار کی تشریح معہ حوالہ لکھنا سیکھا۔قواعد کی مختلف اصناف کی شناخت کی
سیکھی۔
