Assignments
“Let us review. “

5. Review Our last discussion is all about the

solving routine and non routine
problems involving division of 2 to 4
digits numbers by 1 to 2 digit numbers
without or with any of the other
operations of the whoe numbers
including money using appropriate
problem soving strategies and tools.

6.Motivation
I have prepared a vedio presentation, so

Ok very Good!
D. Elaborate Do you recognized this numbers?
59,91,8,25,3,100,44,6,12,70,11?  Yes, this is the
Numbers can we categorize into two numbers
unique identities, no matter small or
great the value certain number it can
still either odd or even numbers

Odd Numbers
Cannot be divided
EXACTLY INTO PAIRS
Odd numbers when divided by of
remainder of one (1)
For example: 1,3,5,7,9,11,13
Even Numbers
Can be divided in to two equal groups
For Example: 2,4,6,8,10,12,14 this
number can be divided exactly into
pairs.
The best and easiest way to determine
whether a number is an odd or even
numbers is to look at the end or the
number in its one’s place value.
Numbers with 1,3,5,7,9,11 in the end
one’s place value or odd numbers with
0,2,4,6,8,10 in the end one’s places
value even numbers
. Let’s check number 659  The place value
What is one place value? is 9 therefore
659 is the odd
number

Let’s check number 898  The number is

one place value
What is the ones place value? is 8, therefore
898 is the even
number

Let’s try this Example

Mr. jazper class will join a program she
told her learners to fall in line in pairs.
If she has 24 learners in her class, will
each learner find a partner? How about
if she has 23 learners, would everyone  24 even
have a pair? number YES

 23 Odd number
NO

Very Good class!

Now, lets try to answer this math

challenge
