How many? – countable and uncountable nouns.
La mayoría de sustantivos en inglés son contables, lo que significa que tienen
una forma singular y una forma plural, y que se puede hablar sobre qué
cantidad hay. En la forma singular se usan con artículo (a, an o the [un/a o el/la]).
Los plurales regulares se forman simplemente añadiendo una "-s".

Los sustantivos incontables (tal como sugiere su nombre) son aquellos que no
pueden contarse. Algunos sustantivos incontables habituales son entes
como information, water y furniture (información, agua o mobiliario), o
sustantivos abstractos, como happiness o anger (felicidad o ira). Estos
sustantivos no pueden usarse con números y se usan sin artículo.
