Slide 1:

- Hello. My name is Cindy. Welcome to my presentation

Slide 2:
Today, I will talk about the best and most useful inventions of mankind in the 20th and 21st
centuries. AIRPLANE
Slide 3: how was the airplane invented?

- The first airplane was invented by Wilbur and Orville Wright and they invented it
because their dad had brought a toy from France that can fly so In 1896, after
hearing about Otto Lilienthal, a German engineer tried to build a flying machine that
could carry people, Wilbur and Orville immediately came up with an intention to build
an airplane. To make an airplane, Wilbur and Orville had to do many jobs such as
mechanic, journalist ... and reading, learning about engines in the library. During the
winter of 1902-1903, the Wrights designed and built a gasoline engine that was light
enough and powerful enough to propel an airplane. They had successfully flew at
Kitty Hawk On December 17, 1903.
Slide 4:
- The common airplane will have a fuselage (where the passengers sit), wings, and
some important engines. The plane can fly because it is affected by four forces:
traction, air resistance, gravity and lift force. Accordingly, when the airplane runs on
the road, the flow of air around the wing creates the difference in pressure between
the underside of the wing and the top of the wing. As the plane moves faster, the lift
gets greater, and when the lift overcomes Earth's gravity, it lifts the plane into the
air.
Slide 5:
had a big impact on economy.
Airplanes has helped a lot for human life:
- Airplanes have helped people transport crops and other objects more quickly and
efficiently..
- Airplanes allow people to travel larger distances in less time. It can also contain
more people instead of using steam trains and trains.
Slide 6
- The airplane is without a doubt the most influential invention of the 20th
century, simply because it shrunk the world. It has connected nations that
would have never been connected otherwise, and shown us a new, unseen
and spectacular perspective of our earth. It also solve the problem in human
life and impact very large to them and change their life.
Slide 7:
 Some planes can fly for more than five hours after one of their engines goes out. …
 The world's largest airplane weighs nearly 600 tons.
 The most expensive First Class seat costs more than $30,000
 The safest seats on an aircraft are those at the back of the plane.
 Traveling by plane is the safest way to get around
