STAFF WELFARE ACTIVITIES

MARRIAGE ALLOWANCE AND
SUBSEQUENT LEAVE FOR 7 DAYS

In terms of extant guidelines and various representations made by All India State Bank
Officer’s Federation/ State Bank of India Staff Association, it has been decided to provide
marriage allowance to all eligible bachelor employees within the following monetary
ceiling:-

Grade Amonut
All award staff Rs 3000/-
JMGS-I Rs 5000/-
MMGS-II & III Rs 5000/-
SMGS-IV & V Rs 5000/-
TEGS VI & VII Rs 7500/-
TEGS SI & II Rs 10000/-

2. Please also note that all eligible bachelor employees would also be able to avail
considerable leave for 7 days for the same. We would like to re-iterate that this aforesaid
allowance & leave will be applicable for first time marriage only and once in entire career.

3. Please bring the contents of this circular to the notice of all the eligible employees
for their information and benefit.
