DAAL BAATI

INGREDIENTS:
For Dal
1 Cup Arhar Dal
1 Teaspoon Desi Ghee
1 Teaspoon Garlic
1 Teaspoon Turmeric
Salt as per taste
For Tadka
1 Tablespoon Desi Ghee
¼ Teaspoon Hing
¼ TeaspoonCumin seeds
2-3 Dry red chilli
For Batti Dough 40-45 Mins 2 People
1 ½ Cup Wheat flour
½ Cup Suji Flour
1 Tablespoon Desi ghee
Salt as per taste
½ Cup Water
¼ Teaspoon Ajwain seeds

METHOD:

> In a bowl soak in your Arhar dal for about 20 mins, afterwards put your dal
in a cooker and cook it for another 10-15mins.
> Then in a hot pan pour in some desi ghee with garlic, turmeric and salt. Pour
in your cooked dal in the pan and let it stir for 2-3 mins.
> Start preparing the dough now and mix in the dry ingredients- wheat flour,
suji flour, salt as per taste, ajwain seeds, ghee and water to make the perfect
dough. Give rest to the dough for about 30 minutes, then take small portions
of dough, make round balls and press them from the middle.
> Now place them in a steamer by applying some oil on it, cook the dough for
next 5 minutes on low flame. After that flip them and then again cover and
cook it.
> In a different bowl, add chopped cabbages red and green, greek yoghurt and
honey, mix well now your coleslaw salad is ready.
> Toast some white or brown buns, and start placing the cooked patties on it,
and coleslaw salad on the top, The mixed bean burger is now ready to eat, can
be served with ketchup mayonnaise or preferred chutneys.
