Marathon Runner
The Life Of Courtney Dauwalter. The Ultrarunner|

Courtney Dauwalter is an American runner who takes part in

ultramarathons. Born on February 13, 1985, she has a way of thinking
that helps her get through hundreds of miles at once. She's won almost
every ultramarathon there is, but she's still looking for the limits of the
cave. She is known as one of the best endurance athletes in the world
because she has won races like the UTMB and Tahoe 200 and set
records like running the farthest distance by a woman in the Big Dog
Ultra.
The Early Life:
Growing up in Hopkins, Minnesota, Courtney Dauwalter always participated in track, cross-country, and skiing in high school. During her high
school career, she was the Minnesota state champion in skiing four times. She attended the University of Denver on a cross-country skiing
scholarship before earning a master's degree in education from the University of Mississippi.

She was always inspired by competition and enduring sports and that is why she choose ultra running. Before becoming a full-time professional
runner in 2017, Dauwalter taught middle and high school in the Denver metropolitan region.

Courtney Dauwalter burst onto the ultrarunning scene in 2016 by winning the 100-mile Run Rabbit Run and setting the record for the Javelina
Jundred 100k.

She has accumulated awards ever since:

1. 2014 Ouray 100-mile winner

2. 2016 Javelina Jundred winner who established a new course record.

3. 2016 Run Rabbit Run 100-mile champion

4. The overall winner of the 2017 Moab 240 by a 10-hour margin.

5. 2018 champion in the women's division. In 2018, the Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run shattered the Tahoe 200 female course
record by almost 18 hours.
Courtney Dauwalter's Support System:

It can feel very supportive and affirming when a spouse supports and encourages one's dreams and career. It can
also create a sense of partnership and teamwork, as both partners work together to achieve their respective goals.
This type of support can be an important factor in helping individuals feel confident and motivated to pursue their
dreams and achieve success in their careers. Courtney Dauwalter's husband has always supported her and is
always on her side when she is on the tracks. He is her ultimate support and crew member.

Kevin Schmidt, Courtney Dauwalter's husband had also competed in the 100-mile bear race through Utah.
Kevin works as a software engineer when not cheering for her wife.

Kevin and Courtney met through mutual friends and wed in 2015 at Courtney's parents' home. During Kevin's
100-mile bear race, Courtney acted as his crew member and saw what it's like to be behind the scenes of such
races when she crewed Kevin and his pals during the 2019 Bear 100 ultramarathon. Crewing involves giving
runners nourishment and care at aid stations. That makes her husband a really caring and loving husband.
Conclusion:

Courtney Dauwalter's life is simple and full of inspiration. She trains

herself, loves her husband, and goes smoothly on the tracks. She believes
that there is always more strength in our bodies than we think. She makes
decisions on how her body and brain feel and that's her winning trick.
