“Shifting Of Classes”

Dear students, How often are we now back at school? Did you miss this school? This
just passed morning, are you feeling excited that we are finally back to school
after our past Christmas break?

Good afternoon one and all present here. I am going to express my views through my
speech on the shifting of classes here at Danao National High School. By the way,
belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone! I know most of you already
know me, but let me introduce myself once again. My name is Jhon Mark M., a grade
10 student here at DNHS. There are a lot of students, and for all I know, some of
you are okay with this way of attending school. The shifting of classes here that
conclude the 6th grade, such as the high school grade, the Gr. 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and
12,

As I remember On August 22, 2022, DNHS was back to normal schooling, not the
modular or the online learning, but the face-to-face classes at last, and all
students were happy to be back to school after spending the past 2 years in Modular
Distance Learning. But not the typically whole-day classes, because we just
experienced last year when a massive typhoon, Odette, hit us and ruined our school
and the classroom, not just our school but whole parts of Bohol and some parts of
Visayas.

And that is the reason why the classroom is not enough to study in because many
classrooms are Ruin and also so many students enrolled with this school . With that
problem our principal have a plan they decided to shift the school classes Shifting
the Grade 7,9,11 In the Morning and Grade 8,10,12 in the afternoon shift and If the
morning shift done using the classroom the afternoon shift will use the rooms and
that’s how DNHS solve that problem.

According to my research, 99.0% of the students in this classroom agree on half-day

classes. Because the afternoon shift has an advantage, here are some of them:
first, in the morning we will not wake up so early, we can sleep a lot of time;
next, we can do our homework in the morning; and also, we can help our parents in
the morning.

I have nothing else to say about the class shifting, and we will just accept the
situation because we don’t have another choice; we will just wait until it is fixed
and we have enough classrooms to study all day.
