Directions for Editing

Your PDF Files

Open the editable PDF file in Adobe Reader 11

(You may need to open Adobe Reader first, and then go to File > Open.)

Save the file with a new name. (File > Save As)

Highlight the words “Your Text Here."

Open the Text Properties Box by pressing CTRL + E (or CMD+E on a

MAC). This will allow you to make edits to the text, including color, size, and
font.

After you highlight the words, type whatever new words you want.
In some documents, only one line of words will fit, and in others you can
write multiple lines.

To change text colors, click on the “T” box in the left upper corner.
To change the size of the words, highlight the words and then choose your
size from the drop down box.

You may need to add a little space between lines to make it easier to read.

To add more space, choose the "more" option on the far right of the Text
Properties box. This will open the advanced box. Choose the 2nd tab that
says "Paragraph."

Highlight just one line of text. You will be adding space above or below that
particular line of text.

Then change the number in the "below" box. You can play with the numbers
until you like the spacing.

If you have multiple tags/labels/cards on a page, and you would like them to
all say the same thing:

Simply highlight all the words. Then copy and paste onto the area you want
the same text.

When you're satisfied with your edits, save the file. If you haven't already
saved it with a new name, do so now (File > Save As).

Then print your PDF files on cardstock or photo paper.

Enjoy!
