Subject: Re-application for Canadian Study Permit

Respected sir/Madam,

My name is Mansi Patel, and I write this letter following the rejection of my previous application
regarding the procurement of a visa for my Canadian study permit. I have applied for the post-secondary
diploma certificate in fitness and health promotion from Durham College to advance my career to the
next level. I was flabbergasted upon hearing about the rejection of my student visa on the aforesaid
grounds.

I was interested in health and fitness from a young age and have been constantly reading about health
sciences since my early years. After I completed the 12th grade, I decided to pursue my graduation in
physiotherapy. I wanted to make positive and healthy changes in people’s lives, and the career path was
perfect for me. After graduating and doing an internship in the same career path, I gained practical
experience related to my field. During my internship, I found physiotherapy to be a satisfying and
rewarding career path as it enabled me to make real-life differences in the quality of life of people. As I
have always strived to perfect my craft, I intend to get more advanced knowledge and qualifications,
which led me to apply to the health and fitness promotion program offered by Durham College.

This is my second application. My previous visa application was rejected, which left me flabbergasted as
the reasons for the rejections were not liable, which I clearly stated in my essay. I believe that I will be
able to provide a better justification for the reasons for the rejection which are as follows:

• The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have
provided in your application.
Justifications for the above-stated reason are as follows:

Regarding the grounds for denial listed in paragraph 216(1) of the IRPR, I want to clarify that I value my
family and birthplace. I have a deep and intricate emotional bond with my family since I have lived with
them all my life. My father is a businessman in the field of Iron, while my mother is self-employed. I have
always received support from my parents regarding my career choice, and they have always provided
everything without even asking for it. My parents are a motivating factor for me to return to the country.
I have a strong sense of responsibility towards my dear parents and will look after them as they are
approaching old age.

I have always been a family-oriented person who looks after my loved ones; thus, I cannot fathom the
idea of living without my parents in a foreign country. I will return to India after completing the post-
secondary diploma and work in India as a health and physical therapist with a well-known firm and look
after my parents as a responsible member of society.

Another reason for me to return to my country is the sheer number of health problems India faces
considering its population. India is set to be the most populated nation in the world in the next 10 years,
and with it, the problems related to an aging population will arrive, and the country has always been in
need of physical therapists. I can work as a physiotherapist in top hospitals like Fortis, Apollo, Global,
Artemis, Medanta, and many more that require highly skilled physical therapists. India has a huge scope
for me, and I find it incomprehensible to stay in Canada when there is no dearth of opportunities for my
profession in my country. Thus, I can assure the relevant Visa authorities that I have no plans to stay in
Canada, as I have no reason to do so, and I intend to return to my motherland and live with my parents.

Please find the following documents to support my visa application:

1. Passport Copy/Original
2. Visa Application Form
3. Admission Letter from Durham
4. Transcripts of all Academics

I hereby acknowledge that everything stated above is true to my knowledge, and I request that you
consider my application suitable for the aforementioned course and college.

Thank you.
