CDC donates assistive devices to PDAO – AC

CLARK FREEPORT – Clark Development Corporation (CDC) recently donated various assistive
devices to the members of the Persons with Disability Affairs Office of Angeles City (PDAO – AC).

In a simple ceremony organized by CDC – External Affairs Department (EAD), CDC President and
CEO Manuel R. Gaerlan and CDC Vice President for Administration and Finance Mariza Mandocdoc
presented the assistive materials to PDAO-AC Disability Affairs Officer II Alma Vital.

The donations include 18 assistive devices such as wheelchairs and crutches. These materials will
help to enable them to carry out everyday tasks and actively and effectively engage in community
life.

In her speech, Vital thanked the CDC for its continuous support to their sector and organization.
Ilang years narin po
Maraming maraming
salamat po,” she said.

Meanwhile, Gaerlan encouraged the members of PDAO-AC to maintain a positive outlook in life
despite the challenges that they face every day. He said that the CDC hopes to uplift their lives
through the various Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs of the state-owned firm.

challenged individuals. Nandito tayo ngayon at nagtutulong tulong.
kahit konti,” he added.

Also present during the event are CDC – EAD Assistant Vice President Rommel Narciso, EAD
Assistant Manager Ronald Antonio, CDC Capacity Building Officer III Agnes L. Matias, Community
Relations and Social Services Officer III Armin Rivera, and other EAD personnel and PDAO-AC
members.

Aside from the said project, the CSR program of CDC dubbed as “Clark Cares” also creates activities
that involve health, employment, livelihood, partnership, and other special projects.
