BSA-Creative Dance
BSA-Creative Dance
Creative dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres
or any dance form.
Rules:
1. All students will prepare a dance based on the theme “New Year”.
2. The dance can be based on any contemporary form or freestyle.
3. The class teacher will assess the performances based on the elements specified under
judgement criteria and forward the names to the house reps.
4. From each house, a team of 8-10 participants will be selected for final round.
5. Use of props is allowed but not mandatory.
6. All records will be maintained on a nominal roll and handed over to the D section
teacher.
7. The names of selected students from each section will be forwarded to the D section
teacher through the nominal roll.
Judgment Criteria:
1. Relevancy to the theme and the type of dance
2. Rhythm
3. Facial expression
4. Costume
5. Overall Presentation
