Activities like a fun run, mobile games, and continuation of intramurals were held on the fourth

day, November 24, 2022, as part of the celebration of the 72nd Founding Anniversary of Liceo de
Christ the King with the theme “Embracing Change and moving towards a Diamond of Academic
Service and Christ-centered Excellence.”

WATER FUNRUN
The water fun run was the first activity on the fourth day, and students from LCK participated in this
activity. Although not essential, students are encouraged to purchase a water gun to increase their
fun. Students begin running at 5:30 in the morning after being called between 4:30 to 5:00 a.m. The
elementary department started its fun run in front of Talugtug National Highschool - Main, while the
Junior to Senior High school department started in Brgy. Villa Rosenda, Talugtug, Nueva Ecija.

The fun run has two categories, the elementary department and the Junior to Senior High school
department. The first student to cross the finish line will be awarded 1000 pesos, the second student
will be awarded 500 pesos, and the third student who will reach the finish line will receive 300 pesos.

Congratulations! In addition, the elementary to senior high school enjoyed the water fountain poured
by the BFPs before running. When everyone had successfully arrived at school, they rested for a
moment and ate the bread provided by our beloved teachers, who had been guiding them along the
way with the assistance of Talugtug PNP. Lastly, students also danced Zumba, led by teachers and
selected students, and then the students went home to change clothes for the continuation of
intramurals.
In a nutshell, the water fun run is indeed a great way not just to improve our physical health but also
to improve our mental health. Keep it a note the saying goes from Invajy, “Mindful running is the
medicine which throws out all the negativity from mind and body.”

LARONG LAHI (PALOSEBO AND PATINTERO)

After the water funrun, students went home to freshen up. They went back at 8 o’clock in the
morning. The continuation of patintero and the battle of palosebo was held. Palosebo was the first
game, this game requires to have three players each team: pne player has to climb to reach the end
of the pole while the other two players act as a guide to help one player climb up here. Speed is
needed in this game and whoever gets there first will win the battle. During the game, the fight
between the two teams, which is unit 2 and unit 4 was close. Unit 2 continued to fight and they won
the game. In this game, everyone's strong strategy and teamwork was used to win.
After the palosebo, the continuation of patintero takes place. The first one was the battle for 3 rd in
girls division where Unit 3 won by default. The next one was the continuation of the match between
Unit 3 and Unit 1 boys wherein Unit 3 won with a score 10-6. After that, the battle for the 3 rd spot for
boys division happened wherein Unit 1 won against Unit 4. Next was the finals for the patintero girls
that is a very close game that is why the committee decided to make both team Champions. Lastly,
The Finals for patintero boys between Unit 3 and Unit 2 in which Unit 3 won and named as
champions.

MOBILE LEGENDS: BANG BANG TOURNAMENT

Unit 4 Aeolus Blast shuts down all of their competitors as they bagged the championship title as
they faced off against Unit 1 Blazing Phoenix for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Tournament
Finals, 3-2, during the 4th day Liceo de Christ the King Intramural and its 72nd founding
Anniversary.

The ML:BB Tournament is one of the most awaited games in the Intramural and it did not
disappoint the fans for they showed an incredible fight, elimination round or the finals. The
elimination round and the battle for 3rd place is a Best-of-three match while a Best-of-five in the
finals.

The first match was between Unit 1 Blazing Phoenix and Unit 3 Blue Dragons where the dragons
cannot extinguish the fire of the Phoenix, 2-0, with Tolits named as the MVP of both games
where he used his signature picks like Valir and Chang’e which dealt a lot of damage and a game
2 KDA of 4/0/8.

The second match was between Unit 2 Green Wolves and Unit 4 Aeolus Blast in which the wolves
cannot stand the team of air and swept them like a tornado, 2-0. In the first game, Kosei who
uses Clint obtained a Maniac during the latter part of the game. The MVP of the game is user
Humble Kerbyyyyyyyy who picked Leomord with a KDA of 10/0/9. The second game was all in
favor of Unit 4 despite the Miya pick. Good Clashes was seen because of the sets secured by
Atlas, who was picked by user Zarel. and named the MVP of the game with a KDA of 2/2/15.

After the Elimination round was the Championship but let’s talk about the battle for the 3rd spot
first which was in between Unit 2 and Unit 3 who both lost in their first matches. The first game
was finished in 11 minutes and 31 seconds, all in favor of the dragons who obtained 10k gold
lead during the 9:20 mark with 10-10 kill score. The MVP of the game is Karina with a KDA of
14/3/5 and 9417 gold. The second game is different from the first one as it was a neck-and-neck
match in terms of kill score and gold but when the first lord spawned and slain by unit 3, they
quickly build a lead and turned away then wiped out their opponent which results to their win, 2-
0. Paquito was the MVP with a KDA of 12/3/4 and 10519 gold earned.

In the Finals, it was the matter of strategies especially during the banning and picking phase.
Players were motivated thanks to the goodlucks of their special someone and were all smiles
before the game. During the first game, Unit 4 took an early lead wherein Harith used by Kosei.
obtained a maniac during the 6:30 period. Unit 4 won, 1-0, with Karina a KDA of 11/3/1. The
second game was a close game wherein Unit 1 took the early 9-1 killscore lead not until the
savage obtained by Leomord of Humble Kerbyyyyyyyy before the first turtle then the Brody of
Kosei had a maniac play in the last part of the game that causes them to win 2-0. MVP of the
game is Leomord with 10/2/2 KDA. The third game was totally in favor of Unit 1 as they wiped
down unit 4 two times, they won 1-2 and the MVP of the game is Karina with 17/2/10 KDA. The
fourth game was like the third one, all in favor of Unit 1 due to the damage of their Jungler
Jawhead who was named MVP of the game with 9/0/2 KDA in the 12:50 minute game. In the do-
or-die part, both teams can feel the pressure and started to get really serious. Unit 4 won the
victory in an intense battle 3-2 and named as Champions.
