Chapter 1 Brief instruction

§1.1 Production instruction

The XC2006 position control meter is the XC2005/2004 advanced


version,uses 128×64 the large screen display. The product outward appearance,
installs the size as well as the wiring column arrangements consistent with XC2005.
Uses 24 lattices typefaces to demonstration order to observes the machine the
operating condition.
The parameter establishment refers to XC2005, the proper attention to both
usability and the flexibility, makes every effort to be able to cover the majority in the
application type concurrent operation to benefit far as possible simple. Certain
parameters appoint by the system,if the user has other requests also to be possible the
artificial establishment.
Uses the independent digital pulse module, increased the frequencyprecision,
causes to pull the material electrical machinery (tohereafter refer to as: Axis electrical
machinery) the movement issteadier, the speed has the enhancement. The support two
axlemachinery (pair step enters or double servo), and may use the doublecolor code to
add the fluctuation roller control mode.
Is suitable the type to be rich, may unceasingly expand (but non-revision). At
present the system interior integrated 7 kind of basictypes and 4 types options, but the
group synthesizes the many kinds oftypes.

§1.2 About RigourIII

RigourIII is the XC2006 series position control meter system softwarename.


RigourII can unceasingly revise in the application and theexpansion, this is the
software general rule. In order to enable theserevisions to have may trace the nature,
must separately name to eachrevision, namely software edition number. Naming rule
as follows:

§2.1.1 Power on/ running display


Regardless of whether the main motor is running or not , it is called ‘running
status', to distinguish from ‘setup status'. Under running status ,the panels display

like figure 1&2, indicator light and screen display the working status and progress
of the system.

The meaning of all the indicator light is shown below:

运转/RUN: Main motor run/stop.


脱 料/PULL:Synchronized with bag release signal, indicate bag release
signal when current bag reach the number of one batch .
冲孔/punch:Synchronized with punch signal, punch signal indicator.
色标/MARK:Light on --- color on, make color bags. Light off--- color off,
make white bags. When the main motor stops, it is permitted to modify by pressing
the “MARK” key on the panel. Blink: The self-test function is turned on, Press the
“Check” key to turn on/off self-test function.

GK1 :GK1 Hall sensor input indicator. Light on - magnet steel position (the A
position), light off - the blank position (the B position)。
GK2 :GK2 Hall sensor input indicator. Light on - magnet steel position (the
C/E position), light off - the blank position (the D/F position).
GK3 :The first color mark sensor input indicator. Light on - find the color
mark , light off- no color mark detected .

GK4 :The second color code sensor input indicator. Light on - find the color
mark , light off- no color mark detected .
GK4 also could be used to indicate the floating roll sensor,light on —
floating roll at high position,light off —at low position.

Screen display:

<计数/Piece> Current bag number, piece = material sending times


÷times send constant (P14)
<批数/Batch>:Current batch number. When the Piece (current bag number) reaches
P02 (number of bags per batch), reset the Piece to 0, Batch+1 .
<长度/Len.>:Bag length, material sending length = bag length ÷P14(times send
constant)。

<速度/Speed>:Material sending time per minute, equals to the main machine


acting time per minute.

<色标/Mark> Display make color bag or blank bag .
<极性/pole> Color mark polarity. Black region - deep color block is valid. Black
border - tint/deep color boundary is valid.The white region - tint block is valid. The
white border - deep color/tint boundary is valid。

Note: 1. Under the 3-side sealing machine, the GK4 is floating roll sensor
indicator, P14(times send constant) = 1 to 4. Other models P14 (times send
constant) always be 1 .

§2.2.1 Operation of INCH keys

The functions of INCH keys vary corresponding to different machine types.


Color mark searching: When make color bags, after [INCH] key is released, the
axis motor starts searching color mark, until a color mark is pitched on or the key is
pressed again to stop searching.
Length measuring: Set the color mark valid , and turn on the self-test function.
Press [INCH] key to search color mark for twice times, then the bag-making length is
obtained.

§3.2 parameter setting


P parameter
P00/P01 Length A ,B : 5~9999mm axis motor A,B running length.
P02 Batch:1~9999 the number of bags of every batch . Release bags when
reach the P02 number .
P03 Follow :1~99 the range of pulse number for searching color mark,the axis

motor will stop when find the color mark within this range. If could not
find the color mark 3 times continuously , the motor will also stop.
0=no restrict :search for the color mark all the time ,until reach the C
position , motor will stop because of over-speed
P04 T-punch:0.01~0.99s seconds punch signal delay.the delay after finish the
material sending to output the punch signal .
P05 F_peak:2000~9500HZ the peak frequency of the motor. When P00/P01 is
long enough (>2000 steps) , the largest speed the axis motor could
reach.
P06/P07 Password & Validate: You can modify the parameter after P07 only when
the status of password is unlock. For more details see §3.3.
P08 F_neap:200~2000HZ The initial frequency/speed of the axis motor.
P09 F_inch:200~2000HZ Click step frequency. The frequency when the axis
motor is INCH(step forward)/ Back (step backward) / search color
mark
P10 T_pull:0.2~9.9Seconds The bag release signal duration time when the
Piece number reach the <P02 batch> number , more details at
§3.3。
P11 T_puff:0.0~9.9seconds ultrosonic welding signal delay. it begin to count time
when GK4 is valid,Output ultrosonic welding signal .
P12 T-jam1 :0.0~19.9Seconds: Material blocking signal delay .
T-jam1< 10.0s, material blocking function---The motor will stop when
the sensor find no blocking materials signal within P12 T-jam1 time .
T-jam1> 10.0s , no material detect ----The motor will stop when the
material blocking signal duration reach the P12 T-jam1. The system
treats this situation as no materials.
0:forbidden this function.
P13 T-jam2: The same as T-jam1.
P14 Tm_Fd(Ir):1~4 times: times send constant .
3-sides sealing,the number of times of feeding each bag ; Other
model it’s the number of times of hot-pressing every bag.
P16 Tm-furl:1~9 folds: =1 normal sending status;Output bag release signal
when Piece reach P02 .
=2-9 main machine output bag release signal when
Piece reach P16 × P02 .

C02 Diameter: 30.0~299.9mm: The diameter of material sending roller.


C03 D_punch:0.00~0.19 seconds the delay after the end of sending material ,
to output punch signal
C04 Bs_Stop:1~99 steps: hot-cutting machine use. After Piece counting to P02,
then in the next circle’s A position ,axis motor step backward
for C04 steps . After the material sending is recovered ,It will
compensate the same steps on the first high frequency band.

C05 Bs_Feed:1~99 steps: First withdraw then send model use. C05 is The
backward steps number when reach E position every time.
C06 Repair:0~99 steps: When making printed bags , the lead steps to search the
color mark .
C07 Prolong:0~50 steps:=0 Don’t increase the length when reach the fold
number : =1-50 The increased length on the first piece of
bag of the next batch.
C08 T_Start:0.0~9.9 seconds . >0 :The buzzer alarm T_Start seconds when press
the run key , ater that the main machine will run.
=0 :the buzzer alarm continuously until press the run key again
C09 Alarm:0~20 Bag release lead alarm number . The buzzer will alarm when the
Piece reach <P02-C09>.
C10 Effic:0.50~0.99 The sending material angle coefficient(valid under automatic
frequency modulation status)
C11 Face: Chose the Language . English/ Chinese

§3.3 Parameter combination
§3.3.1 The Peak frequency(P05)/Initial frequency (P08)/Click step frequency
(P09)
The frequency of axis motor when starting / ending is called initial frequency
(P08). The lower the initial frequency is, the smaller the initial acceleration will be.
By choosing a low initial frequency (≤500Hz) , you could obtain a gentle ‘S’
accelerate curve.
When the length is long enough , the maximum frequency the axis motor can
reach is called the Peak frequency (P05), Otherwise the axis motor will stop
speeding up before reaching the midpoint. The higher the Peak. frequency is, the
larger the acceleration will be. Therefore the back section of acceleration curve is
mainly determined by the Peak frequency.
When search color mark / withdraw material / click step move, use the click step
frequency (P09).

§3.3.2 Color mark tracking (P03)/ color mark compensation (C06)


When P03(Follow)= 0, the system will search color mark unrestricted until the
overspeed position. Otherwise the system will search color mark in the setting range,
treating out of the range as a failure. If 3 continuous failures are accumulated, stop
the machine. When the color mark compensation (C06)is default value ,the
compensation value will be set automatically , normally is the twice of P03
value .Specially when the P03=0 , the C06 will be 20 . The two parameters have
the following relationship:

§3.3.3 Model(C00)/Bag release delay(P10)/Stop machine then move
backward(C04)/hot press then move backward(C05)

C00 Machine type Explanation of machine type


0000 Ordinary After the count number reaches P02, output bag release
machine signal , signal ends after P10 delay .
0001 Stop to take off After the count number reaches P02, in the next cycle, the
bags, delay axis motor will not send material at position A and will stop
and start the main machine to release the bags at position B. Delay
for two P10 time and recover running.
0002 Stop to take off After the count number reaches P02, in the next cycle, the
bags, no shaft motor will not pull material at position A and will stop
starting the main machine to take off the bags at position B. Don’t
recover running.
0003 Hot cutting After the count number reaches P02/P03, in the next cycle,
machine the axis motor will retreat C04 paces at position A. Output
bag releasing signal at B position , stop the bag releasing
after P10 delay. Stop sending material during releasing the
bags(null cutting). The unit part of P10 denotes the times
of null cutting. After recover sending, compensate C04
paces in the high frequency segment.
0004 First withdraw In every sending cycle, retreat C05 paces at position E, and
then send hot compensate C05 paces when sending material in the high
cutting frequency segment. But retreat C04 paces when bag release
machine /stop the machine. After the count number reaches
P02/P03, in the next cycle, output bag releasing signal at B
position , stop the bag releasing after P10 delay. Stop
sending material during releasing the bags(null cutting).
The unit part of P10 denotes the times of null cutting.
0005 Three edge Axis motor A sending material length = P00 ÷P14 . Axis
sealing motor B sending material length =P00÷P14 ×(1±1.6%), and
machine will continue sending material by the click step freuqency
(P09) , until the floating roll reach low position. Operation
of bag releasing is the same as ordinary machine.
0006 Compensate Ater the counting number reach P02 , in the next cycle,
then Stop sending material at A position for one time , and output bag

machine release signal then stop machine at B position, delay for
P10 , bag releasing end . Main machine stop , and need
to start manually
0007 Withdraw then On every material sending cycle , axis motor retreat C05
pause paces at E position , and compensate C04 paces at high
material sending frequency segment . But when release
bag or stop machine , retreat C03 paces at A position.
After reach P02 , in the next cycle , null cut at A position ,
output bag release signal and stop main motor at B
position . Delay P10 , bag release end , and then after
another P10 delay , the main motor recover running.

0008 Withdraw no On every material sending cycle , axis motor retreat C05
stop paces at E position , and compensate C04 paces at high
material sending frequency segment . Don’t stop the
machine when reach P02

§3.3.4 Password (P06)


You are allowed to modify parameter P08---C13 only when password is
unlocked . Set the password to 1111 (default) , equals to don’t use password .

§3.5 GK3/4 Polarity modification
Press[MARK]key to open color mark select,then press [CHECK] key , the
MARK indicator light will blink , screen will display ‘POLE A’’POLE B’.
At this time , press [POLEA] is switching black/white work .
press [POLE B]is switching black/white work.
Modify’Pole B’to ‘×’, the second step motor will always
run by fixed length .

Press [CHECK] key again to quit self-test status and polarity modify
status.

Chapter 4 Installation and debugging

4.1 Installation of sensors


4.1.1 Sensor of Hall
Hall is important in harmonizing the main motor and the shaft motor. It reflects
period, phase, and other information of working machinery. It is indeed a time
divider. Distorting of these information will affect cooperating between the
machinery and the electricity unit, and induce bad work status and low efficiency.
Installation requirements will be given according to Figure 5 as follows.
Position A: Departure position of the cutting blade, which is also the start
position of material pulling. Material pulling must be finished before reaching
position C, otherwise the machine will be stopped because of overspeeding.
Position B: Stop position of all kinds of stop operation. Because of inertia,
the machine actually stops behind position B, meanwhile, the cutting blade is at the
highest position. The front edge of bag take-off pulse (for some machine type).
The take-off pulse ends after a delay, whose back edge is unrelated to position.
Position C Getting down position of the cutting blade. The limit position of
material pulling. The front edge of punching pulse. Machinery permitting, move
position C backward as far as possible, thus a longer time of material pulling window
and a higher efficiency can be obtained.
Position D The front edge of bag take-off pulse (for some machine type). The
bag take-off pulse ends after a delay, whose back edge is unrelated to position.

Position E The back edge of punching pulse. Initial position of material
withdrawing (for the machine type of first withdraw then send). The material
withdrawing process must completes before the next position A, otherwise the
machine will stop because of overspeeding. The front edge of air blowing pulse(not
three edge sealing machine type).
Position F The back edge of air blowing pulse.

4.1.2 Blocking material (non-material) photoelectric signals


Expected time when the block first and second respectively at 0.0 seconds to turn
off this feature by default;
When the set time is greater than 0.0 seconds and 9.9 seconds less than expected
when the blocking function of open time in the set signal blocking material must be
at least one signal is detected, the system is that the normal; If this time has been set
up signals or signal system has not been considered to be material or blocking
material off, the system will automatically shutdown. A photoelectric signal
blocking material, the application can be set separately.
When the set time, the 10.0-19.9 seconds were not expected to function as open, if
the signal is detected and set the duration of time equal to, the system is not
expected that at this time, the system shutdown automatically; If set time interval
the signal changes, and less than a set duration of time that the signal is invalid, and
failure to implement non-functional materials. No signal of a photoelectric material,
the application can be set separately.
