Eligibility Criteria for Membership Examinations Online application is compulsory for attending the MCPS examinations of BCPS. The examinations will start at Dhaka on 1st January 2022 in the following subjects: 1) Medicine, 2) Surgery, 3) Paediatrics, 4) Obstetrics & Gynaecology, 5) Ophthalmology, 6) Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, 7) Psychiatry, 8) Anaesthesiology, 9) Radiology & Imaging, 10) Radiotherapy, 11) Dermatology & Venereology, 12) Dental Surgery, 13) Forensic Medicine, 14) Family Medicine, 15) Transfusion Medicine and 16) Laboratory Medicine. Eligibility Criteria: A. i) Candidates have to complete at least 4 years after MBBS/BDS. ii) One year training in the respective subject in an Institute/Hospital recognized by BCPS. Exceptions: One year training format in (1) Dental Surgery and (2) Family Medicine is as follows: (1) Dental Surgery: (a) One year training in any one of the following subjects of Dentistry: (i) Orthodontic and Dentofacial Orthopaedic (ii) Prosthodontics (iii) Conservative Dentistry and (iv) Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Or (b) 06 months training in any two of the following subjects of Dentistry: (i) Orthodontic and Dentofacial Orthopaedic (ii) Prosthodontics (iii) Conservative Dentistry and (iv) Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. (2) Family Medicine: Out of 01 (one) year training: (i) 06 months training in Medicine and (ii) 06 months training in any one of the following subjects:- a) Surgery b) Obst. & Gynae. c) Paediatrics Or B. Candidates who passed MD/MS under BSMMU/ Dhaka University/Chittagong University /Rajshahi University will be eligible for appearing in MCPS examinations in the relevant subjects. Or C. Candidates who passed Diploma undergone 2 years in-house training under BSMMU will be eligible for appearing in MCPS examinations in the relevant subjects. Note: 1. The examinees of the MCPS examinations who will secure 100 marks out of 200 marks in written test (Paper-I & Paper-II), his/her written examination will remain valid for next two consecutive Clinical, Oral & Practical examinations.
