Automated translation feature:
With this update we provide our customers with an extraordinary functionality
for the first time:
The new program version enables you to perform automated translations of
self-created phrases (SDS, IPI, and labels), text fields, substance names and
other texts (for example, article group names, toxicological information, etc.).

Note:
We would like to inform you that we provide an instructional video for this
new functionality on our YouTube channel at Automatic translations in
ChemGes (https://dr-software.com/links/youtube.php?doc=automatic-
translations&lng=en).
Installation:

Please note that this Update contains extensive changes to the Database.
For this reason, the Update may take a long time.
Please, backup your program and data as normal before an Update.
Let the Update run completely and do not turn off your computer while the
Update is running, as this can lead to massive data loss.

In order to transfer the update, please plug the USB stick into the USB
port, start ChemGes and go to Administration programs –
Updates and Upgrades – Program and data update from a memory stick.
The Update will start automatically as soon as the data medium is
recognized.

Please note, that your program must be at least Version 52.0 in order for
your Update to be performed. Please contact our hotline if that is not the
case.

Overview of changes:

- User friendliness (i.e. automatic translation service)

- Update of occupational exposure limits, update and new addition of

substance listings and national chemical inventories, update of national
GHS classification data

- Other program changes (i.e. range calculations for PCN, replacement of

locked classifications when transferring official CLP classifications,
excluding flags, etc.)
