If you are interested in joining us, contact Prof. Tertuliano at oat@seas.upenn.edu. Please
provide a brief description of your research background, future interests and career goals.
Provide with your CV and contact information for 2-3 references.

Our goal is to establish a fundamental understanding of the relationship be-

tween tissue mechanics and microstructure to develop novel synthetic material
systems, accelerate the development of new therapies, change clinical practices.
We leverage novel nano- and micro- scale experimental mechanics to develop a fundamental
understanding of tissue mechanical response and adaptation to physiological loads, dynamic
and high strain rate. We couple this with the emerging field of metal additive manufacturing
to develop materials that enable seamless and active interfacing with the human body for
regenerative health care. See tertuliano.seas.upenn.edu for more information.

We value individuals from diverse backgrounds who are eager to engage in a team effort.
