Electroni¢ components are located primarily in the radio rack in the eft left oide of the flight compartment. The radio rack houses electronic components such as Sight recorders, transceivers, conputers, compasses, veathor radar, receivers, ete., and is ventilated with cooling alr from the passenger compartment air-conditioning system. ‘The electrical poxer center 4s located in the fight compartment Just aft of the flight engineor's station and contains the syotens engineer's con wok penal, the EP circuit bresker panel, equipnent panels, control panels, switches, and other cleotricel conponents vsed in the Various systens of the airplane, These panels provide a central tocation for most of the relays, timers, and enplifiers Used in the electrical systen, The main gear veel welds are located in the lover aciment of the fuselage below the ving center section. ‘The vheel wells house the main landing gear, woén rebracked, and additional hydrawlic system components, such as reser= voirs, Titers, accumiators, pressure gages, pumps, and service pene}s. ‘The inboard wheel well doors can be opened while the oirplene is on the ground for easy access to the hydraulic components, Shields, in each or the main wheel wells, protect the ccayonents fron danage in case of tire plovout. ‘The ahields are hinged for easy access to cctsponents in the vacel wolla. y ‘The nose gear wheel vell located in the forvard lover section of the fise- lage, houses the noseuneel, vnen retracted, and other components such ae control valves, accuwlaters, and Janding lights, and provides access to the forvard accessory compartment door, Te forward nose gear doors can be oyened for easy access to the wheel well when the gear is extended. ‘The main and nose gear whol welds are equipped vith lights controlled by 8 Owitch located in the external pover receptacle panel. ‘The cabin compressor conpartnent is located forvard of the nose gear vheel wela, tho pressurize air-conaktioning ascoscory compartment is located aft of the nose gear wheel well, ond the afr-conditioning equipment tunnels are located on either side of the nose gear wheel well, ‘Tho comportaents sxe below floor level and house the air-conditioning end cabin compressor equipaont .
