Please describe your career goals and how you envision attending

SFCM will enable you to achieve these ambitions. (300-500 words)

As a violist, I have found that I love playing in chamber music and a professional orchestra, because
the cohesion of creating music with a hundred of people is an inspiring moment. For instance, I
have played in professional orchestras such as Singapore Symphony Orchestra, Taipei Symphony
Orchestra and One Song Orchestra, but new atmospheres, inspirations and musical ideas always
come to my mind when playing with different conductors and soloists. However, not only learning
creating music for improving my musical abilities, but contributing all musical ideas, knowledge
and experiences I absorb to the society and next generation. I believe the purpose of life is to help
others when you have spare energy, so performing in a professional orchestra and dedicating to the
public by music are my career goals.

To achieve the goals, the first priority is to become an excellent and skillful performer. Before
graduated from SFCM, professor Dimitri Murrath told me that I have to be a brilliant soloist if I
want to pass an audition and get into a professional orchestra, so enhancing my every musical
aspects is essential for reaching the goals. Therefore, I consider that SFCM has many resources that
can help me, such as the private lesson with professor Dimitri Murrath, the excerpts course with
professor Matthew Young and the Telegraph String Quartet ensemble courses, etc.

According to the information mentioned above, a lot of difficulties will happen on the way of
success, but I have passion, confidence and abilities to overcome problems. Thus, I believe
attending SFCM can not only help me pass difficult auditions of professional orchestras, but also
help me express knowledge, experiences and skills I have learned to the society.
