Repellent

Note: Operational Definition is recommended. It refers to a detailed explanation of the technical

term’s use in your study. (define terms relevant to your study)

Euphorbia hirta (Tawa-tawa). This refers to the study's primary independent variable. It is a plant
that is used to treat a variety of illnesses, but dengue fever and malaria are two of the most common.
It contains bioactive substances that can take the place of the harmful commercial ingredients used to
make mosquito repellents.

have historically been a leading source of illness and death. An example of this is dengue.

Insecticides. This refers to the chemicals that are commonly used to repel or kill insects.

Oil lamp repellent. This refers to a product to be tested for its repellency effectiveness on
mosquitoes and its potentiality to prevent diseases such as Malaria, Zika, and the West Nile Virus.

Botanist. This refers to an individual who studies Euphorbia hirta in curing vector-borne diseases
namely; Zika virus, West Nile virus, Chikungunya virus, dengue fever, and malaria caused by public
threat transmitting mosquitos.
