Case 4: Non-financial Indicators

Jollibee Foods Corporation is a Philippines-based company engaged in the development, operation and
franchising of quick-service restaurants (QSR) under the trade name Jollibee. The development,
operation, and franchising of its quick-service restaurant brands constitute its core business. It provides
a large selection of delicious foods that are reasonably priced, as well as excellent food that is designed
to satisfy customers of all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds.

The Company's success in the quick-service restaurant sector continues to depend heavily on the quality
of the food, the level of service, the price-value relationship, the location and atmosphere of the stores,
and effective operations. The critical success of Jollibee are rivals and low cost operating system.

Jollibee’s high competitor is Mcdonald’s. Both business offer the same merchandises and services.
Second one is low cost operating system, the operating system that powers Jollibee Food Corporation is
affordable. In comparison to McDonald's, they are offering their goods at a lower price and in a more
regional fashion. In contrast to McDonald's, who initially entered the market there in 1981, they did so
in the Philippines in 1975. To improve the goods and services Jollibee Food Corporation offers to its
customers, high technology needs to be integrated into the operational system. More improvements
should be made to give it an advantage over rivals, particularly McDonald's, an American company with
a global reputation.

Customer’s Satisfaction Since we all know that having a satisfied customer can have a great impact on
the company, when measuring a customer's satisfaction it can help the company to know the feedbacks
and the comments of their customers to know the flaws of their business. If the company is able to
serve their customers well and they are able to achieve their customer's expectations there is a
possibility that they can create a long term relationship with their customers and they can easily gain
their trust. Giving excellent service on a consistent basis will ensure that consumers are happy, and the
company will benefit more from the consequences.
