Eastern vs Western conception regarding society and human flourishing

It is also good to note that different societies and cultures have different
interpretations/conception regarding what is good. It has been observed that western civilization
tends to be more focused on the individual, while those from the east are more community-centric.

Human flourishing as an end then is more related to the western culture over the eastern ones.
 

The table below shows the comparison between the eastern and western conception regarding
society and human flourishing.
