This document provides instructions for Assignment 2 in the EEE 495 Digital Signal Processing course. Students are asked to design a digital IIR filter using either the bilinear or impulse invariant method from the circuit diagram provided. They must determine the filter type, cutoff frequency, bandwidth, and plot the frequency response curve using Matlab. The parameters K and P1 in the design are based on the student's roll number.

Submission Date: 10 January, 2021 Problem: Design a digital IIR filter from the following circuit by i. Bilinear Method and ii. Impulse invariant method.
Consider K= 100*Roll number of the student
P1=100+Roll number of the student
Use suitable sampling rate.
Determine:
a. Type of filter b. Cutoff frequency c. Bandwidth d. Frequency response curve (you may use Matlab for plot)
