Printer

A printer is a computer device that functions as a printing machine in the form of text or
images on paper or cloth media. The printer is rectangle in shape and made of plastic. It
consists of 8 components such as cartridge, carriage unit, head, chip, mainboard, timing belt,
paper tray and roll sensor. The cartridge shape is cube. The functions to store, organize, and
place the ink out during the printing process. The Carriage unit is square in shape. The
functions is a place to place a cartridge. The head is rectangular in shape. The functions to
output an ink or toner and head can be found under the cartridge. The chip is shaped like a
square with 2 cm long and 2 cm wide. The functions as a link between the cartridge and the
mainboard. The mainboard is rectangular in shape. The functions to manages all printer
functions such as receiving data, and controlling motion. The timing belt is shaped like
serrated rubber and it is 4 mm wide and 24 mm thick, which is useful for pulling the head
when the printer is printing. The Paper tray is flat and rectangular in shape. It is 25 cm long
and 30 cm wide. The function is a place to put paper before and after printing. The roll sensor
is useful for detecting the paper that will be used, whether or not there is paper. It is a
rectangular in shape. All printer components are inside the casing but the paper tray can still
be seen from the outside. The printer can be used if it is connected to a laptop or PC USB
port, but now the printer can also be run from a handphone using bluetooth.
