How to Be Successful at Evangelizing (2)

EVERY CHRISTIAN SHOULD desire the noble task of evangelism! We must not only desire such a task,
but also look for ways to be successful at it. In the Bible God has given us all the things that pertain to life
and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). If we follow the Bible, then we will know how to reach out to the lost. With this
in mind, let us consider more ways on how you and I can be successful at evangelism.
To be successful at evangelism we must have compassion for the lost. Our Lord Jesus Christ felt compas-
sion for those who were lost. This is what we see in Matthew 9:36-38. Brethren, this is the kind of attitude we
need to have in order to be able to reach out to the lost. Unless we feel compassion for their spiritual condi-
tion, then we will not do anything about it. I encourage you to feel compassion for your family, friends, and
everyone who is lost and stands in need of the gospel of Christ.
To be successful at evangelism we must be patient with those with whom we study the gospel. Teaching
the gospel of Christ is not an easy task. There are times when people will get upset and will close their rea-
soning to the Scriptures. We must be patient with everyone knowing that such people are blind and need
someone to help them see the truth of the saving gospel of Christ. Perhaps you were reluctant at the preach-
ing of the gospel and perhaps it took a long time for you to obey. Be patient with people and do not ever
give up on them. Patience is a key ingredient in teaching the gospel to the lost.
To be successful at evangelism we must acknowledge the fact that people are lost without the gospel. If
we do not acknowledge the fact that people are lost, then we will never preach the gospel to them. I am
afraid that many members of the body of Christ have come to the erroneous understanding that people are
not lost without the gospel. This is a lie that Satan wants us to believe. Romans 1:16 teaches that the gospel is
the power of God unto salvation. This is the only power of God to save men from their sins. We must truly
believe that men are lost without this message of salvation. This will helps us to reach out to them.
To be successful at evangelism we must always look out for opportunities to share the gospel with oth-
ers. Remember that our responsibility is to present the gospel to as many people as possible. Therefore, eve-
ry opportunity you have to talk about Christ and what He did for the world, please take advantage of such
opportunity. The early church went everywhere preaching the gospel (Acts 8:4). This means that they made
the most of the opportunity to share Christ with as many people as possible. We must do the same thing!

May God help us to see the need to teach the gospel to every creature (Mark

Cómo tener éxito en la evangelización (2)

¡TODO CRISTIANO DEBE DESEAR la noble tarea del evangelismo! No sólo debemos desear esa tarea, sino
también buscar formas de tener éxito en ella. En la Biblia Dios nos ha dado todas las cosas que pertenecen a la
vida y la piedad (2 Pedro 1: ). Si seguimos la Biblia, entonces sabremos cómo comunicarnos con los perdidos. Con
esto en mente, consideremos más formas de cómo usted y yo podemos tener éxito en la evangelización.
Para tener éxito en la evangelización debemos tener compasión por los perdidos. Nuestro Señor Jesucristo sin-
tió compasión por los que estaban perdidos. Esto es lo que vemos en Mateo 9:36-38. Hermanos, este es el tipo de
actitud que debemos tener para poder llegar a los perdidos. A menos que sintamos compasión por su condición
espiritual, entonces no haremos nada al respecto. Los animo a sentir compasión por su familia, amigos y todos los
que están perdidos y necesitan el Evangelio de Cristo.

Para tener éxito en la evangelización debemos ser pacientes con aquellos con quienes estudiamos el evangelio.
Enseñar el evangelio de Cristo no es una tarea fácil. Hay momentos en que las personas se enojarán y cerrarán su
razonamiento a las Escrituras (Hechos 17:32; 24:25). Debemos tener paciencia con todos sabiendo que esas perso-
nas son ciegas y necesitan a alguien que les ayude a ver la verdad del evangelio salvador de Cristo. Tal vez usted
fue rebelde a la predicación del evangelio y tal vez le llevó mucho tiempo obedecer. Sea paciente con la gente y no
se dé por vencido. La paciencia es un ingrediente clave en la enseñanza del evangelio a los perdidos.

Para tener éxito en la evangelización debemos reconocer el hecho de que las personas están perdidas sin el
evangelio. Si no reconocemos el hecho de que las personas están perdidas, entonces nunca les predicaremos el
evangelio. Me temo que muchos miembros del cuerpo de Cristo han llegado a la comprensión errónea de que las
personas no están perdidas sin el evangelio. Esta es la mentira que Satanás quiere que creamos. Romanos 1:16
enseña que el evangelio es el poder de Dios para la salvación. Este es el único poder de Dios para salvar a los
hombres de sus pecados. Debemos verdaderamente creer que los hombres están perdidos sin este mensaje de sal-
vación. Esto nos ayudará a llegar a ellos.

Para tener éxito en la evangelización, siempre debemos buscar oportunidades para compartir el evangelio con
otros. Recuerde que nuestra responsabilidad es presentar el evangelio a tantas personas como sea posible. Por lo
tanto, cada oportunidad que tengamos para hablar de Cristo y lo que hizo para el mundo, aprovechemos esta
oportunidad. La iglesia primitiva fue a todas partes predicando el evangelio (Hechos 8:4). Esto significa que apro-
vecharon al máximo la oportunidad de compartir a Cristo con tantas personas como sea posible . ¡Debemos hacer
lo mismo!
